Speak Out & WIN!

Speak Out Surveys and earn fabulous prizes!

For every 50 posts you make on the discussion board at www.speakout.alberta.ca between September 2010 and June 2011, you could earn Speak Out SWAG and gifts from our sponsors.

How the contest works

First, you need to register on the Speak Out website.  Then, head to the discussion board and start sharing your opinions, ideas and experiences.

Each time you reach the 50 post milestone, the Speak Out Team will send you a prize.  Basically it means that you will be rewarded for speaking out online.  The prizes get bigger and better, so make sure you are posting often.

Only posts that meaningfully contribute to the conversations will count towards your total.  Remember, the voices we hear online are used by schools, jurisdictions and the ministry of education to make decisions that affect students in Alberta.  Posting just to get your numbers up will not earn you anything.

Upon reaching the milestones, you will be notified by e-mail with instructions how to collect your prize.

Notification of winners

We will post the winners’ User IDs on the home page and on the Contest page at the end of each month. We will identify you only by your screen name.

Speak Out will send you an e-mail with instructions on how to claim your prize using the e-mail address you provided when you registered on this website. At that time you will be required to confirm your eligibility as per the contest rules.

Your e-mail address is used solely for registration and for the purposes of contacting you if you have won a prize for this contest. Your identity or e-mail address will not made public on this site, nor will it be shared publicly.

Persons between the ages of 13 to 17 must have the consent of his or her parent or legal guardian to accept the prize.

Speak Out reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest for any reason, without any prior notice to any contestant.
