Larissa strives for excellence with anything she does. She has been elected and re-elected into her school's Student Council and is a member of the School District’s Advisory Council. Her teamwork skills are practiced on the basketball court, on the track, and in leadership roles in various clubs and volunteer groups. Being an all-term honour roll student, a saxophonist and an artist, she also stays true to her Jamaican-French Canadian family background by speaking fluent French. Larissa brings a unique perspective to the Minister’s Student Advisory Council and is eager to promote increased involvement of diverse cultures, such as Native American culture, within Albertan schools and communities.
