Marya is a resident of Medicine Hat who loves the close-knit community that she lives in, and wants to keep improving her school. She is overjoyed to be serving her second term on the Minister’s Student Advisory Council. This year Marya wants to focus on becoming more active on the Council as well as her community, and plans to take steps to ensure that solid change will come from forum results. Since Marya is a relatively new Canadian she feels passionately about erasing racism, as well as promoting help for international students. With her positive attitude, international background, and passion for learning, she has a lot to offer to the Minister’s Student Advisory Council.
